Nevada PERS director nominated for federal board

<div id="subtitle">Nevada's retirement director nominated for Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board</div><div><p>The executive director of the Nevada Public Employees Retirement System has been nominated to serve on a federal retirement investment board.</p><p>Dana Bilyeu was nominated by President Obama for the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board.</p><p>Her nomination was announced Tuesday by U.S. Sen. Harry Reid and will be subject to confirmation by the Senate.</p><p>The board is an independent government agency established to administer the Thrift Savings Plan, a tax-deferred retirement savings program for federal employees.</p><p>As executive director of Nevada's public employee retirement system, Bilyeu oversees $21 billion in investment funds.</p><img src="http://admatch-syndication.mochila.com/images/ad.gif?aid=67360079&bid=informcom" /></div><div id="copyright"><div>
