NCR opens 100 new Blockbuster kiosks in Arizona

<div id="subtitle">NCR opens 100 new Blockbuster DVD rental kiosks in Arizona supermarkets</div><div><p>NCR Corp., which makes devices including ATMs, self-service checkout machines and airport ticketing kiosks, said Monday it has installed more than 100 new Blockbuster Express DVD-rental kiosks at Food City and Bashas' supermarkets in Arizona.</p><p>Blockbuster is scrambling to regain business it has lost to DVD-by-mail leader Netflix Inc. and Redbox, a subsidiary of Coinstar Inc., which operates more than 22,200 DVD rental kiosks.</p><p>Including about 1,300 DVD rental machines acquired in its December acquisition of DVDPlay, NCR now operates nearly 4,000 kiosks around the country for the Blockbuster brand.</p><p>Shares of NCR edged up 16 cents to close at $12.13. Blockbuster's stock gained about a penny to finish at 46 cents.</p><img src="http://admatch-syndication.mochila.com/images/ad.gif?aid=68270412&bid=informcom" /></div><div id="copyright"><div>
