Detroit-area Ikea store reopens post-flooding

<div id="subtitle">Detroit-area Ikea store reopens after sprinkler system goes off without fire, causing flood</div><div><p>A 300,000-square-foot Ikea household furnishings store west of Detroit has mostly reopened after its sprinkler system went off and flooded the building.</p><p>The retailer says in a posting on its Web site that the first floor of the store and restaurant are open.</p><p>Ikea tells the Detroit Free Press and The Detroit News a second floor showroom remains closed but could reopen on Saturday.</p><p>There was no fire in the building, but the system was triggered around 4 a.m. Tuesday. The sprinklers dumped about 2,000 gallons of water on the second floor.</p><p>Ikea says the flooding caused significant water damage to the merchandise at the Canton Township store.</p><img src="http://admatch-syndication.mochila.com/images/ad.gif?aid=65653985&bid=informcom" /></div><div id="copyright"><div>
