<div id="subtitle">Correction: USA Today story</div><div><p>In a Dec. 1 story about layoffs at newspaper publisher Gannett Co., The Associated Press reported erroneously that Gannett is merging the staff of USA Weekend magazine and USA Today, the daily newspaper.</p><p>The company is merging the two publications' newsrooms. Other operations will remain separate.</p><img src="http://admatch-syndication.mochila.com/images/ad.gif?aid=68327718&bid=informcom" /></div><div id="copyright"><div>
