Central bankers, financiers to discuss undue risk

<div><p>Top bankers will meet leading central bankers over the weekend to discuss the problem of excessive risk taking that had been blamed for the financial crisis, the Financial Times said on Thursday.</p><p>The newspaper said that the meeting, to be held at the Bank for International Settlements, would look at the rising concern that financial institutions may once again take excessive risks amid "cheap and ample funding."</p><p>A spokeswoman from the BIS told AFP that a meeting would be held, but would neither confirm the issues to be raised at the session nor the list of participants.</p><p>According to the FT, bankers expected to attend include Citigroup's Vikram Pandit and Larry Fink of BlackRock.</p><p>While chief executives from Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan have both been invited, they were not planning to attend, added the newspaper.</p><img src="http://admatch-syndication.mochila.com/images/ad.gif?aid=66469870&bid=informcom" /></div><div id="copyright"><div>
